Project Summary:
The project aims to systematically approach and use conventional and/or modern methods and procedures for textile testing and explore the system setup, the objective of describing and evaluating non-conventional textile materials (composites, laminates, PCM), in accordance with specific rules for particular types of technical and smart textiles. Exact characterization of new materials will enable comparison of these materials (regardless of the diversity of structure and composition), and will establish a base of expert system for predicting the behavior of these materials during use, ie, in real terms. In this way, be able to correctly assess the value of any new, potentially possible materials for technical textiles, its usability and ability to be used for a particular purpose. The resulting knowledge will enable the construction of multicomponent textile system designed and optimized in accordance with the characteristics of the used fibers and targeted high-use properties.
