The instrument simulates the heat and moisture transfer occuring between textile materials and human skin. The following is measured: thermal resistance Rct [m2K/W]; resistance to water vapor permeability, Ret [m2Pa/W]; the instrument operates in conformity with ISO 11092:1993 and ASTM F 1868-XX standards.
